Incredible Celebrity Transformations Over The Years

Ami Ciccone

Everyone goes through visibly noticeable changes as the years go by. Celebrities are no different, and many turn to cosmetic surgery to slow down the ticking hands of time. Understandably, being public figures whose looks have a hand in earning them an income, most stars do what it takes to maintain their youthful glow.

Until scientists cook up a fountain of youth, no one can escape the natural process of aging. Here is a list of celebrities who look quite different now after losing weight, battling substance abuse issues, or simply because age caught up with them.

Courteney Cox - Cougar Town

Courteney Cox won our hearts as one of the main stars of the beloved '90s sitcom Friends, where she played the part of Monica Geller. She continued entertaining us in other productions like Mothers and Daughters and Cougar Town. Expect to see her in the upcoming productions Scream, Shining Vale, and Last Chance U.

Age has caught up with Cox at 57. To help her maintain her glow, she prefers treatments that are non-invasive. She claims to be a big believer in laser and is interested in therapies to produce collagen. Cox is also mindful to relax body and mind.

Michael J. Fox - Back To The Future

Michael J. Fox is 60 years old now and looks quite different from when we saw him in the Back to the Future films of the '80s and early '90s, and 1985's Teen Wolf. Fox largely quit the industry in 2020, after appearing in The Good Fight TV Series, citing his declining health.

Naturally, medical issues took a toll on his body and appearance. But that didn't stop him from taking on the voice role of the character Michael J. Bird in Back Home Again which is currently in post-production.

Jean-Claude Van Damme - Cyborg

A '90s action star, Jean-Claude Van Damme, is known for heading films like Cyborg, Hard Target, and Maximum Risk. His muscular physique earned him the nickname "The Muscles from Brussels." At 60, Van Damme maintains a slender frame but isn't as ripped as before.

He openly discussed his struggles with cocaine addiction in the past, saying that quitting cold turkey and exercising helped him beat the habit. The Belgian native continues acting with a scheduled voice role in the upcoming animated film Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Richard Simmons - Slimmons

Richard Simmons rose to fame in the '70s as a fitness instructor, and he's known for his eccentric style as much as for his aerobic videos. He opened up a training facility in Beverly Hills specifically to cater to overweight customers. Simmons knew quite a lot about losing massive amounts of weight, having managed to shed off 123 pounds himself.

From 2014, he started retreating from public life, and concerns were raised about his wellbeing. His publicist quelled rumors, by explaining that Simmons just decided to enjoy this next chapter of life in private. In 2020, re-uploads of some of his weight-loss content were posted on YouTube.

Wayne Newton - Danke Schoen

Wayne Newton is a respected entertainer within the Las Vegas circuits, and he goes by several nicknames, including The Midnight Idol and Mr. Entertainment. His biggest hit is Danke Schoen which featured in the 1986 movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

However, it all remains speculation. He keeps working and several Ceasers Entertainment commercials aired in 2020 employed his services.

Kelly Osbourne - The Osbournes

The Osbournes got us better acquainted with the Osbourne family, including Kelly. Since the show's debut in 2002, she shook off her rebellious teen persona to become a respected member of the fashion industry. Kelly was also known for carrying a few extra pounds, which she has since lost.

In 2009 while participating in Dancing with the Stars, the training sessions motivated her to get fit. Working with a trainer helped her shed 70 pounds by following a physical routine and eating better. We’ve recently seen her in Celebrity Watch Party and The Masked Singer UK.

Julio Iglesias - Un Canto a Galicia

Driven by passion and relentless discipline, Julio Iglesias keeps performing around the globe even now that he's 77. He turned to music after being involved in a nearly fatal car accident halted his professional soccer career. Iglesias explained that he looks back at it now positively because the ordeal helped him become a fighter.

Now an award-winning musician, he has an extensive discography with his most recent album, Dois Corações, released in 2017. In Spain, he stands as the artist with the most record sales, selling 23M albums. In 2020, Iglesias sold his Indian Creek abode to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.

Liza Minnelli - Liza! Liza!

In her teenage years, Liza May Minelli put up performances that kick-started her career. The Shoreham Hotel provided her first stage at the age of 19, working as a nightclub performer. Decades later and Minnelli stands as a respected figure in the music industry. The 2010 album Confession was her tenth release since her 1964 debut Liza! Liza!.

The 75-year-old showgirl is displaying signs of aging and has been rumored to have had surgical enhancements in the past. Minelli has never denied or admitted to going under the knife. She continues gracing our screens as well, and in 2020 we saw her on an episode of The Great British Sewing Bee.

Sylvester Stallone - Rocky

Sylvester Stallone is hands down one of the biggest action stars of our time, best known for appearances in the Rocky series of films. Most of the roles required him to stay fit, and he has consistently put in the work.

His Rambo co-star, Richard Crenna, said that he'd never seen someone who works as hard as Stallone to get in shape for roles. While his appearances have changed since gracing the earlier films, he maintains a toned physique at 75. Stallone also keeps working with upcoming roles in The Expendables 4, Little America, and Samaritan.

Madonna - Like A Prayer

Madonna rightfully earned the honorific title of the "Queen of Pop" when she released an endless list of hits in the '80s. La Isla Bonita, Take a Bow and Like a Prayer still play on the radio alongside her newer hits. Madonna has equally been considered a trendsetter, and her changing looks haven't gone unnoticed over the years.

Even without getting glammed up, she looks years younger than 63. Recent photos shared on her social media pages reveal sharp angles at the brow, jawlines, and cheeks. She slammed down the plastic surgery rumors early in 2021 by reposting a video done by one of her impersonators.

Cher - Believe

Cher has given us a series of hits over the years, including I Got You Babe when she was part of the folk-rock duo Sonny & Cher. She soared to greater heights as a solo artist giving us timeless singles like If I Could Turn Back Time and Believe. She’s gearing up to hit the road with the jukebox musical The Cher Show in 2021.

Cher is equally known for her sense of style, and in the '60s, she was credited for popularizing Cherokee-inspired tunics, bell-bottoms, and bandanas in true hippie fashion. She works out religiously, and is known for being able to do a five-minute plank!

Macaulay Culkin - Home Alone

Macaulay Culkin rose to fame as a child star in the '90s, and he memorably starred in the Home Alone films. Culkin also delivered great performances in The Nutcracker, Richie Rich, and The Pagemaster. He caved to the pressures of the industry and was soon the subject of a series of controversies.

He turned 40 in August 2020, and his tweet about it became the ninth most-liked on the platform's history. That's three decades since he first appeared on Home Alone as Kevin McCallister, and naturally, he looks quite different now. Culkin is slated to appear in the 10th season of American Horror Story.

Sarah Paulson - American Crime Story

Sarah Paulson joined the industry in the ‘90s, but she started gaining massive recognition when she starred in American Gothic and films like What Women Want. She received critical acclaim for American Horror Story and American Crime Story. Paulson outdid herself in the 2020 Netflix series Ratched and the Hulu original film Run.

At 46, Paulson is stunning and looks like she's barely aged. She told Bustle that she doesn't think plastic surgery is for her but doesn't judge anyone who does it. Paulson added that she doesn't think her ability to land roles is based on her level of attractiveness.

Evan Peters - Mare of Easttown

Evan Thomas Peters is perhaps best known for his appearances in American Horror Story (AHS, Pose, and Mare of Easttown. On the big screen, he has featured in the X-Men films and Kick-A**. He is currently working on the upcoming mini-series based on one of America’s most infamous serial killers titles Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Peters morphed into various characters for AHS, and even off the screen, he's known to shake things up, particularly when it comes to his tresses. He has sported a blonde look, long locks, short dos, and everything in between over the years.

Kathy Bates - Titanic

Determination and abiding by the mindful mantra to stop eating once you are full worked for Kathy Bates. An ovarian and breast cancer survivor, she only regrets not adopting the lifestyle modification earlier. She is 60 pounds lighter and a happier woman.

She told Us Weekly that mindfulness is simply knowing when to push her plate away. Her niece suggested the conscious weight-loss method, and she hasn't looked back since then. Bates is known for appearances in Misery, Titanic, and About Schmidt. She is slated to appear in The Miracle Club and Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.

Frances Conroy - American Horror Story

Besides gracing our screens in thrillers like American Horror Story, Six Feet Under, and The Mist, Frances Conroy is equally known for her role as Penny Fleck in Joker. Expect to see her in the 2021 production The Power of the Dog and American Horror Story: Double Feature.

Like most other AHS stars, Conroy has gone through the most drastic on-screen transformations for the show. For starters, she looks quite different now at 68 from her earlier days in the industry. Her AHS: Coven transformation was quite bold and befitting for the brutally stoic character she portrayed, Myrtle Snow.

Finn Wittrock - American Horror Story

Halloweentown marked Finn Wittrock's film debut, and he has since featured in other big-screen productions like Twelve, Noah, and La La Land. He is perhaps best known for appearing in American Horror Story as Harry Gardener.

Wittrock has a busy schedule with roles lined up in Deep Water Luckiest Girl Alive and Green Lantern. At 36, it doesn't look like he has aged much from his initial days in the industry. His growth is also displayed in the 2020 Netflix series Ratched where he portrayed Edmund Tolleson, a serial killer.

Elliot Page - The Umbrella Academy

Canadian actor Elliot Page first won recognition for his role in the television franchise "Pit Pony." But it wasn't until he starred in the 2005 psychological thriller "Hard Candy" that he caught the public's attention.

It's been a while since his debut, but Page still looks as young and fresh-faced as ever. Guess he's one of those lucky fellows who hold on to their youth for a long, long while. And while he keeps his skincare routine close to his chest, his Instagram lets us know he doesn't take physical fitness lightly. In 2022, he was a presenter at "The Oscars."

Lily Rabe - The Whispers

Lily Rabe outdid herself on American Horror Story: Hotel portraying one of America's infamous serial killers - Aileen Wuornos. The makeup team nailed her transformation, but she took the character to the next creepy level with the methodical mannerisms.

Rabe recently starred in AHS: Double Story, and she is slated for features in The Tender Bar, and We're Just Married. She left an equally lasting impression as the tar in the ABC sci-fi series The Whispers. Beyond the screen, Rabe welcomed a second child with her boyfriend, Hamish Linklater, in 2020.

Adina Porter - The 100

Adina Porter has appeared in several hit TV shows, including True Blood, The Newsroom, The 100, and American Horror Story. Embodying Lee Harris/Dinah Stevens in the first, sixth, seventh, and eighth seasons of AHS earned her two Saturn Awards. Her career started in the theater after training under Butterfly McQueen.

She recently returned to our screens for the tenth season of AHS as Chief Burleson and has an upcoming role in Paper Girls. At 50 years old, Porter looks much younger, and if anything, some of the roles have made her look significantly older.

Leslie Grossman - American Horror Story

Leslie Grossman is known for her role in What I Like About You as Lauren. Her other credits include Popular and American Horror Story. For the latter TV series, she embodied Meadow Wilton, Covo St. Pierre Vanderbilt, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Margaret Booth.  She rejoined the AHS cast for the show's tenth season that started airing in 2021.

Grosman is yet another woman who is defying the hands of time because she barely looks 49. It's the reason she can morph into just about any character, as displayed by her other recent appearances in Love Victor and The Goldbergs.

Angelica Ross - American Horror Story

Angelica Ross is a transgender rights advocate, businesswoman, and trailblazing actress. She established "TransTech Social Enterprises" which is a firm that focuses on providing employment opportunities for transgender people. The 2016 web show Her Story marked her debut, followed by a critically acclaimed performance in Pose.

She joined the American Horror Story cast in 2019 as Nurse Rita and personified The Chemist for the show's tenth season. Ross told TVLine shows like AHS prove that trans performers can personify roles, depicting them as part of the fabric of our society.

Jessica Lange - Wild Oats

Jessica Lange's stellar performances have earned her an award from just about every competitive film body in existence. Her exemplary talent saw her claim the Triple Crown recognition. Lange has graced our screens from the '40s, and her repertoire of works includes Wild Oats, King Kong, and American Horror Story.

Lange might be 72, but she's still hard at work within the industry with a scheduled feature in the upcoming Marlene Dietrich project. Her most memorable on-screen transformations have been on American Horror Story. She featured on the show as Constance Langdon, Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode, and Elsa Mars.

Cody Fern - American Horror Story

The 2017 coming-of-age film Tribes of Palos Verdes marked Cody Fern's feature debut.  He also appeared in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story as David Madson and American Horror Story as Michael Langdon and Xavier Plympton.

His physical transformations haven't been the most drastic on-screen, but he has nailed the art of personifying different characters. Fern reportedly had interests in finance but gave up the ambition for modeling and acting instead. He is well on his track to greater heights, having recently appeared in Eden as Andy Dolan and  AHS: Double Feature.

Jocelyn Wildenstein - Socialite

Socialites are often criticized for being "famous for being famous," but there's more to the life of a public figure like Jocelyn Wildenstein than what first meets the eye. She became famous after marrying the art dealer billionaire Alec Wildenstein and even more popular after divorcing him and getting a whopping $2.5 billion settlement!

She used a good chunk of the money to change her appearance drastically. Not everybody loves the way she looks, but Jocelyn seems to be comfortable with her choices and has retained her playful, youthful spirit over the years. Her body and face changed, but she never stopped being herself!

Matt Bomer - Chuck

It's a great achievement to have accolades like a Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, and Critic's Choice Awards to your name. That describes Matthew Staton Bomer, who has featured in All My Children, Chuck, and White Collar.

He created memorable impressions with his transformations into Donovan/Andy for American Horror Story and topped it off by starring in The Sinner as Jamie. Bomer has featured in films like Magic Mike, The Normal Heart, and In Time on the big screen. Expect to see him in the upcoming TV series Echoes and the upcoming film The Book of Ruth.

Amanda Bynes – The Amanda Show

Former child star, Amanda Bynes, has transformed quite a lot since her acting debut in 1996 in the Nickelodeon show, "All that." After it ended, she got her own show named "The Amanda Show," later featuring in skits such as "The Girl's Room," "Judge Trudy," and "Moody's Point which catapulted her to stardom.

Watching her grow up, you'd think she had everything a girl wants until 2012 when she got into trouble with the law and some personal troubles which led to her career declining rapidly. These days, Bynes seems to be doing much better. She announced her engagement to Paul Michael on Valentine's Day in 2020.

Will Smith - The Pursuit of Happyness

Will Smith broke into the industry in the '80s as a rapper before headlining The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He cemented his place in Hollywood with stellar performances in Men in Black, I Am Legend, and The Pursuit of Happyness. Smith is slated to appear in the upcoming productions Emancipation, The Council, and Bright 2.

While he barely looks older, snaps of him looking less toned say otherwise. In 2021, Smith shared the photos on social media and admitted that he isn't in the best shape of his life. He is currently on a weight loss journey and documenting the process through a YouTube series.

Angus T. Jones - Two and a Half Men

Made famous for his appearances in the sitcom "Two and a Half Men," the former American actor Angus T. Jones was once one of Hollywood's best-paid performers, with a whopping salary of $350K per episode! But his religious views forced him to abandon the series (and acting in general) to live a quiet life away from the spotlight.

In 2021, a paparazzi caught Jones entering his car while barefoot and boasting a large beard. It was the first time audiences got to see Jones since 2016, the year he appeared briefly in "Horace and Pete." Don't worry, though: still worth an impressive $20 million, Jones looked pretty happy!

Tom Hanks - Captain Phillips

Tom Hanks established himself as an A-lister with features in box-office hits like Cast Away, Forrest Gump, and Captain Phillips. He isn't nearly done with the industry and has scheduled features in Finch, A Man Called Over, and In the Garden of Beasts. Now 65 years, Hanks has visibly aged since we saw him in the 1988 flick Big.

What he has maintained through the years are his incredible talent and exploratory spirit. He is a NASA supporter and even produced From the Earth to the Moon for HBO. Alongside his wife Rita Wilson, Hanks donated blood antibodies for research in 2020 after recovering from the novel virus.

B. J. Novak - "The Office"

B. J. Novak was among the talented cast members of "The Office." A fun fact about him that you might've not known is that he went to high school with co-star John Krasinski. He studied Spanish and English literature at Harvard, but he pursued a comedy career after graduation.

In movies, Novak is best known for his performances in "The Founder" and "Inglourious Basterds." He hasn't settled down with a woman yet, but he previously had an on-and-off relationship with actress Mindy Kaling. In 2021, he did voice work for a short film titled "Melinda's Wish."

Brian Baumgartner - "The Office"

It's easy to remember who Brian Baumgartner is because he has a unique hairdo. He gained fame for appearing in "The Office," wherein he was a primary cast member. He also experienced directing an episode for the eighth season of the series.

He seems to have barely aged over the years, and it looks like he wants to continue working as an actor for as long as he can. Baumgartner sparked nostalgia in 2020 when he launched a Spotify podcast titled "An Oral History Of The Office" and interviewed his former co-stars from "The Office."

Leslie David Baker - "The Office"

Leslie David Baker has an angelic face and a smile that can brighten anyone's day. He's undoubtedly a talented comedian, and people saw his skills in nine seasons of "The Office." He's pretty intelligent in real life, for he has a degree in psychology and a master's in human services administration.

His acting career started in the late '90s when he moved to Los Angeles. Baker also generates earnings from voice acting, and you might've heard him in series like "Puppy Dog Pals" and "Doug Unplugs." In 2020, he did advertisements for Honey Nut Cheerios.

Christopher Walken – Annie Hall

Christopher Walken might as well be one of the most recognized faces of the century, and that’s probably because he has played roles in so many movies and series over the years it’s hard to keep track. Even though he started appearing on TV in the '50s, he initially got praised with The Deer Hunter many years later. Since then, Christopher has maintained a busy career. His most recent project was the 2018 movie called The War With Grandpa. Not only is he alive and well at 78 years old, but he’s still working as well!

Angelina Jolie - Girl Interrupted

Gia, Girl Interrupted, and Lara Croft are the earlier films that helped Angelina Jolie gain recognition in the industry. Her rise continued with lead roles in action films like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Salt, and The Tourist. She has upcoming roles in Eternals and Every Note Played.

Jolie is 46 years old now and barely looks it. Publications like People magazine, Vanity Fair, and Vogue have cited her as one of the world's most beautiful women. At the age of 37, she had a double mastectomy as a preventative treatment for cancer. She openly discussed her ordeal and said that it redefined beauty.

Jennifer Lawrence - A Winter's Bone

Jennifer Lawrence remains one of the most popular names in showbiz at the moment, and it’s all because of her talent and natural good looks. A case in point is Winter’s Bone which marked her breakthrough and saw her spend most of her on-screen time bare-faced. We are waiting to see Lawrence in the upcoming films Mob Girl, Bad Blood, and Don't Look Up.

Perhaps the color of her locks is the most significant change she has sported through the years appearance-wise. Numerous publications have described Lqrence as a quirky and down-to-earth actress who prefers to stay grounded despite achieving immense success.

Hannah Murray - Game of Thrones

Hannah Murray is an English actor who is best known for her role in "Skins" and the hit series on HBO, "Game of Thrones." She was nominated for three Screen Actors Guild Awards with her castmates for the show.

Murray has changed a lot over the years, and some major changes are her body type and hairstyle. Her face also looks slightly different from her "Game of Thrones" days. Since the show has ended, Murray was seen in the 2020 series, "The Expecting." She has been away from the limelight for a while, though.

Nicholas Hoult - The Great

Born in 1989, Nicholas Hoult is an actor who has starred in many projects since he was a child, such as "About a Boy" as the protagonist. He is from England but has starred in both English and American projects. Now, Hoult is an adult and has obviously changed quite a bit from his boyhood days.

However, one thing that remains the same is his striking personality on screen. Hoult has acted in many projects like "Skins," "Jack the Giant Slayer," and "Warm Bodies." In 2021, he starred in the second season of "The Great" alongside Elle Fanning.

Mike Bailey - Skins

Mike Bailey is a former actor who rose to fame after starring in the teen drama "Skins." He hasn't starred in many projects but was seen in "We Are The Freaks" and "1066." In 2017, he quit acting and followed his true passion of becoming a teacher.

Now, he looks like a completely different star, and no one would guess that this serious-looking teacher in plain clothes was once on TV. Of course, he is no longer dressed like the nerdy-looking teen of the past but still looks similar, especially if he kept the long hair.

April Pearson - Skins

April Pearson has been in the acting world since she was a child. She started with theater productions and later moved on to television and films. She also starred in the hit teen drama "Skins." She was seen in other projects like "The Kindred," "Tucked," and "Tormented."

In 2022, she can be seen in the short "Flipit: Sticky Party." Pearson has not changed a lot over the years and still looks quite similar to her teenage days. She is still rocking her natural curls, and her face has not changed much either.

Cameron Diaz - The Mask

Cameron Diaz burst onto our screens as Jim Carey's romantic interest in "The Mask." She was a prominent female heartthrob from that film, commanding roles in "Charlie's Angels" and various romantic comedies. Everyone wanted to kiss Diaz! This is probably why she, now, can't imagine going back to the acting world.

Diaz has transformed this previous image of herself. First, she has been "retired" for seven years in 2021 from the acting industry, and she says it has been a relief. In that time, she got married to Benji Madden in 2015. In 2021, she spends most of her time focussing on being a businesswoman and a mother to her one-year-old daughter Raddix.

Valerie Bertinelli – One Day At A Time

It's been years since Valerie Bertinelli became a household by playing Barbara Cooper in "One Day At A Time." Her marriage with Eddie Van Halen fizzled out, she packed on a few pounds, and she slimmed down again through the Jenny Craig method.

Once she was done with the show "Hot in Cleveland," Bertinelli transitioned from acting to hosting after bagging two Food Network shows titled "Valerie's Home Cooking" and "Kids Baking Championship." The Delaware-born star, who has two Golden Globes under her belt, is still presenting both shows in 2021.

Steve Carell – The Office

Steve Carell is naturally talented in making people laugh through his comedic performances. He's well-known for starring in the show called "The Office," but many of you might've also loved his films like "Evan Almighty," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," and "Get Smart."

Over the years, he went through a transformation, and it looks like he's aging pretty well. He pairs his modern hairstyle with a scruffy beard. Carell is still in demand in the acting scene, and he began starring in and producing a new series in 2020 titled "Space Force."

Lavell Crawford – Better Call Saul

You should recognize the American comedian and actor Lavell Crawford for his portrayal of the hilarious 'Huell' in the "Breaking Bad" series and "Better Call Saul." But would you? The Missouri native lost so much weight in recent years that he looks almost unrecognizable! According to Go! Magazine, he dropped almost 300 pounds following a life-changing medical procedure.

But while Crawford's appearance changed drastically, his talent for show business has always remained the same. Nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album for his stand-up special "The Comedy Vaccine," Crawford will continue to make us laugh for many years.

Joaquin Phoenix - Walk the Line

The American actor Joaquin Phoenix was born to a show-business family, with his siblings' River, Rain, and Liberty also pursuing acting careers. As a child, he rose to prominence mainly after appearing in the drama-family series "Morningstar/Eveningstar." Years later, he started appearing in movies such as "To Die For," "8MM," and "Gladiator."

In 2005, Phoenix's rendition of the legendary singer Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line" turned him into an instant Hollywood sensation and award favorite. Since then, his list of notable roles has been impressive: he starred in "The Master," "Her," and the 2021 drama film "C'mon C'mon."

John Krasinski – The Office

John Krasinski has gone from geek to hunk over the years. He rose to fame for starring in "The Office," and then became an even bigger star with his performances in "A Quiet Place" and "Jack Ryan." He doesn't only do on-screen work, for he also loves writing, producing, and directing

Krasinski indeed has a lot of people crushing on him ever since he went through a heartthrob makeover, but he only has eyes for one woman: Emily Blunt. The two have been happily married since 2010, and have two kids together. In 2021, he directed "A Quiet Place Part II" which had his wife starring in one of the lead roles.

Rainn Wilson – The Office

"The Office" wouldn't have been the same if actor Rainn Wilson wasn't in it. His performance in the series got him nominated for an Emmy Award thrice. He originally started acting while he was still studying in Seattle. He isn't getting any younger, and it looks like he doesn't mind if people see his white and gray hair.

Aside from his small-screen success, Wilson is also well-known for his film roles in "Six Feet Under," "Super," and "The Rocker." Wilson has no plan of slowing down career-wise, and you might've seen him on an episode of "Super" in 2021.

Jenna Fischer – The Office

Jenna Fischer experienced a breakthrough in her acting career when she got cast in "The Office." She received a nomination for the Outstanding Supporting Actress award at the Primetime Emmy Awards twice, and she got to produce the last season of the series.

Her other memorable parts were in "Blades of Glory," "Splitting Up Together," and "You, Me and the Apocalypse." She had a podcast titled "Office Ladies" with Angela Kinsey, and they got nominated for the Shorty Award for Best Podcaster in 2020.

Mindy Kaling – The Office

Aside from showcasing her acting talent on "The Office," Mindy Kaling was also the show's director, executive producer, and writer. She later gained more fame for her work on series like "The Mindy Project" and "Never Have I Ever."

Her beauty evolved over the years, and you can tell that she mastered the art of putting on makeup. Kaling still looks as flawless as ever, and it seems like she has won the genetic lottery as she has maintained a youthful glow all these years. In 2021, she appeared in the movie called "Locked Down."

Kaya Scodelario - Skins

Kaya Rose Scodelario got her big break when she auditioned for a role in "Skins," a show known for hiring relatively unknown budding teen stars. She won the part of Effy Stonem in 2007 and immediately became a fan favorite. Most cast members were replaced two seasons later, but she was chosen to stay.

While portraying this role and riding on the success of the E4 program, Scodelario began exploring her options. She received offers and went on to enrich her portfolio, now starring in more mature parts such as in the 2022 movie "The King's Daughter."

Jack O'Connell - Godless

Jack O'Connell starred in the 2021 show "The North Water," and fans have witnessed how far he has gone since he started his career in 2005. Some of his earlier works include "Doctors" and "The Bill." His first big-screen appearance came in 2006 when he starred as Pukey Nicholls in "This Is England."

Since then, O'Connell continued to impress his critics and supporters by giving his A+ performance, as seen in "Skins" and "The Runaway." However, he became a household name after landing the role of Roy Goode in the 2017 show "Godless."

Luke Pasqualino - Skins

Actor Luca Giuseppe "Luke" Pasqualino has had a busy 2021, after starring in the 2021 show "Shadow and Bone" as David Kostyk and Ed Lancer in "Death in Paradise." Before this, fans may have seen him in "Our Girl," "Snatch," "The Musketeers," and "The Borgias."

Fans may have also seen him in "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome," "Snowpiercer," and "The Apparition." However, Pasqualino may be best recognized for being Freddie Mclair in the teen show "Skins." He is also very active on social media and loves sharing tidbits about his everyday activities with his over 500K followers.

Kathryn Prescott - Skins

Many young stars start their acting careers on the E4 teen program "Skins," and Kathryn Prescott is one of them. She became widely known for being Emily Fitch in 2009, and in this stint, she was able to hone her talent as an actress. Since then, she appeared in numerous shows and films, including "24: Legacy," "To The Bone," "Finding Carter," and "The Son."

Unfortunately, the year 2021 didn't end well for Prescott because, in September, she was hit by a truck that left her hospitalized for a while. In January 2022, she released a statement thanking those who have helped her in this scary ordeal.

George Clooney - ER

In 1978 George Clooney landed a role as an extra in the mini-series Centennial, and it kick-started his acting career. We have now seen him in ER, Ocean's Eleven, and The Ideas of March. He has an upcoming feature in Ticket to Paradise.

At 60, Clooney hasn't changed much besides now sporting grey strands. With four-year-old twins, it seems like the Gravity actor and his wife Amal are planning to scale up. As per The Economic Times, the pair has their eyes set on an 18th-century manor located in the French village of Brignoles.

Natalie Portman - Thor

Natalie Portman ventured into the modeling world at the age of 11 and transitioned to acting in 1994 with a feature in Léon: The Professional. She now has credits in The Other Boleyn Girl, Thor, and Annihilation. Portman is slated for appearances in Thor: Love and Thunder, May December, and Foxy Trotter.

While she literally grew before our eyes, her most drastic screen transformation was in Black Swan. Just like it played out on-screen, she lost 20 pounds by going on a rigorous exercise routine and restricting her calorie consumption. It paid off in more ways than one because she won an Oscar and met her husband Benjamin Millepied while filming the psychological horror.

Brad Pitt - Interview With The Vampire

Brad Pitt’s acting career started with tutelage under the late Roy London. He soon landed his first role in the 1987 film No Way Out and No Man’s Land. However, it was his appearance in the 1991 road film Thelma & Louise that accorded him heightened attention.

Before earning his stripes in the industry, he worked several odd jobs to make ends meet. That included passing out flyers promoting El Pollo Loco while donning a chicken costume and driving senior workers to clubs. Pitt continues commanding attention now at 57 with scheduled appearances in the upcoming productions Women Talking, She Said, and The Three-Body Problem.

Matt Damon - Good Will Hunting

Matt Damon shared the spotlight with Ben Affleck when they co-wrote and starred in the award-winning 1997 drama Good Will Hunting. He went on to garner more praise from appearances in Saving Private Ryan, Syriana, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and The Departed. He is currently filming Apostle Paul and Green Beret's Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse.

Damon has gone far and beyond for roles, as displayed in Courage Under Fire. He adopted a 100-day fitness plan that involved running and performing other rigorous routines. The 40-pound weight loss helped with his delivery, even though he was only on set for two days to embody a soldier addicted to opiates.

Megan Fox - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Meghan Fox left a lasting impression from her appearances in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers series of movies. Her stunning looks have also seen her grace the cover of publications like Rolling Stone and Maxim.

At 34, Fox maintains her stunning looks and doesn't appear to have aged much since joining the industry at 15. She reportedly had work done to define her cheekbones and got lip fillers. Fox is still landing huge roles and has upcoming features in Midnight in the Switchgrass, Brick Gold Brick, and Golden Dolphin.

Julia Roberts - Erin Brokovich

For delivering an outstanding performance in Erin Brokovich, Julia Roberts earned an Oscar. However, it's the 1990 comedy Pretty Woman that established her as a leading lady. Her bankability is further displayed through her list of upcoming roles in Little Bee, Leave the World Behind, and Ticket to Paradise.

Even more impressive is the fact that at 53, she appears to have discovered the fountain of youth. Besides changing the color on her tresses, Roberts hasn't changed much in terms of appearance. There have always been rumors about her having some work done, but Roberts hasn't gotten surgical enhancements, according to an interview she granted The Guardian in 2014.

Jennifer Aniston - Murder Mystery

Growing up with famous folks, the late Nancy Dow and John Aniston, it's natural that Jennifer Joanna Aniston also joined the entertainment industry. An uncredited part in Mac and Me (1988) started her career before her first major role came in Leprechaun (1993). Friends raised her profile, and in 2021 she teamed up with the gang once again for an unscripted TV special.

At 52, age has caught up with Aniston in some ways. She openly discussed getting surgical help but for medical reasons. The rhinoplasty she had was meant to fix a deviated septum. As per what she told People magazine in 2007, the rest is all hers.

Mila Kunis - Black Swan

Mila Kunis isn't someone we would ever consider to fall on the heavier side, but she felt like losing some weight would help with her role in the Black Swan. In a matter of five months, she managed to drop 20 pounds. She adopted healthier eating habits and started being more active.

Kunis ventured into Hollywood at the age of 14, playing Jackie Burkhart in That '70s Shows. Her voice work includes Meg Griffin on Family Guy and Deema on Hell and Back. She is slated for features in Luckiest Girl Alive and Jackpot.

Leonardo DiCaprio - The Wolf Of Wallstreet

Being ranked as the seventh-youngest Golden Globe nominee under the Supporting Actor category is quite the mean feat. What's Eating Gilbert Grape earned Leonardo DiCaprio the achievement. He continued his streak as a bankable actor with starring roles in Titanic, The Wolf of Wallstreet, and Catch Me if You Can.

At 46, DiCaprio doesn't quite look like the dashing young man who swept Rose off her feet in Titanic. He's since grown his beard out and is still quite the looker with the ability to keep us glued to our screens. We expect to see him in the forthcoming films Killers of the Flower Moon, Roosevelt, and The Black Hand.

Johnny Depp - The Pirates of the Caribbean

The Pirates of the Caribbean films made Johnny Depp an even bigger star globally, but he first gained attention as a youthful undercover cop in 21 Jump Street. The '90s saw him team up with Tim Burton in several films like Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, and Ed Wood.

At 57, he maintains a somehow edgy appearance, but it's quite a different look from when he starred in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. The Hollywood Reporter published a piece that inspired an online petition for Depp to return to the Pirates franchise. The piece explained that his career took a downturn in recent years, and the 2021 petition received 500K signatures.

Robert Downey Jr. - The Avengers

Robert Downey Jr. achieved critical success in his youth, but he battled addiction and legal issues along the way. Abiding by a court-ordered program, he got help and has been sober since 2003. He gained a new lease of life in the industry portraying Iron Man in the series of Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Downey is equally known for appearances in Zodiac, Tropic Thunder, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He has upcoming appearances in All-Star Weekend, The Sympathizer, and Sherlock Holmes 3. Now at 56, he decided to take better care of himself by going vegan. When announcing it in January 2020, Downey explained that it's part of his efforts to reduce his carbon footprint.

Robert De Niro - Taxi Driver

Robert De Niro is yet another actor who has outdone himself when preparing for a role. When working on Raging Bull, he trained like a boxer to prepare for the role. It didn't end there; he piled on 60 pounds and participated in three boxing matches. Even more impressive, he won two out of those three matches against professional champs.

De Niro is best known for his collaborations with Martin Scorsese, and in fact, he has featured in nine Scorsese films. His appearances in The Godfather Part II and Taxi Driver heightened accorded him fame. De Niro has upcoming roles in Wash Me in the River and Killers of the Flower Moon.
