Ami Ciccone

Whether we're poking our noses into the latest issue of Architectural Digest or driving by Jackie Chan's sprawling estate in Hollywood, snooping around in someone else's home is quite an appealing prospect. When these homes are owned by some of the wealthiest and most famous celebrities in Britain, the need to scratch the itch is even greater.

We might tell ourselves that celebrities are just like us but take one look at their lavish multi-million-dollar palatial homes and hyper rare sports cars, and fiction quickly gives way to reality. Join us as we take a sneak peek into the homes of some of the biggest stars in the United Kingdom.

Adele – $9.5 million, Los Angeles

Sitting on a 17,000-square-foot lot is Adele's sprawling mansion in Beverly Hills. With about 6,595-square-feet of living space and a beautiful backyard, the home is seemingly worth the $9.5 million price tag and fit for a multi-Grammy-winning pop queen.

Located in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of Los Angeles, Adele's swanky home means she is neighbors with the likes of Nicole Richie, Jennifer Lawrence, and Katy Perry. In November 2021, the "Someone Like You" singer released her fourth studio album, "30," which some hailed as her best work to date.

Steve McManaman -  $8.4 Million, Manchester

Former football player Steve McManaman played for Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid during his heyday, so it's not surprising that he amassed quite a fortune. He spent some of his earnings on big-ticket items, such as estate properties, including this gorgeous Manchester home fit for royalty.

According to Manchester Evening News, McManaman began constructing the abode in 2008 before listing it on the market in 2014, slashing the price, and selling it again in 2016. This Cheshire mansion boasts seven bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a pool, bar, and modern gym, which was quite perfect for his active lifestyle.

Piers Morgan - $5.6 Million, Beverly Hills

Boasting earnings of $30 million during the 2017 calendar year, according to social media records and the Mirror, Piers Morgan is quite the high roller in network television. With income like this, he can afford his three residences in Los Angeles, East Sussex, and London.

His $5.6 million five-bedroom and five-bathroom villa in Los Angeles is so massive it needs its own round-the-clock staff. The enormous estate's notable features include a large-sized pool, a whirlpool bath, and an outdoor bar. In 2021, Morgan found himself in hot water on multiple occasions due to his comments, including his take on the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.

Tom Hiddleston - Unknown, Oxford

English actor Tom Hiddleston is apparently living the dream after his breakout role as Loki in the "Thor" and "Avengers" series. Although the "Crimson Peak" actor lives in west London now, he grew up in Oxford and also owned his former home in the town previously.

The countryside home is where Hiddleston lived before his breakthrough role as Loki in 2011, so one can say the British actor enjoyed the finer things in life even before becoming one of the leading men in showbiz. In November 2021, Hiddleston returned as Loki, this time on the small screen in "What If...?" and the first season of "Loki."

Florence Pugh - Undisclosed, Los Angeles

In 2022, "Black Widow" star Florence Pugh and her boyfriend Zach Braff called it quits after spending a lot of time in Los Angeles. As such, we might see her more in her abode, where she usually films her cooking session through her Instagram stories. From the short snippets she uploaded, we can tell that she loves spending time in her kitchen.

The "Little Women" star's kitchen seemingly has rustic and industrial accents, making her house feel homey. Not much is known about Pugh's house, but with her $8-million net worth, she could very well afford a new one. Fun fact: she once made it to the 30 Under 30 list.

Naga Munchetty - Unknown, Hertfordshire

Naga Munchetty looked totally different and was worlds away from her unassuming on-screen appearance in November 2021 as she stunned onlookers in a black gown at the Ethnicity Awards 2021. It wasn't too long ago when Nina Warhurst replaced the BBC presenter on her morning show "BBC Breakfast," and we can't wait for her next venture.

Born and raised in the bustling streets of South London, Munchetty opted for a more secluded, private, and peaceful place to call home. Her modest home in Hertfordshire is the perfect place for the news presenter to spend family time with her husband James Haggar and their adorable cats.

Joan Collins - $4.5 million, California

In 2017, actress Joan Collins decided to put her condo in California up for sale, and by all accounts, the property is still up for grabs if you have $4.5 million burning a hole in your pocket. Located in Sierra Towers in West Hollywood, the apartment building has previously attracted celebrities like Matthew Perry, Cher, and David Geffen.

The spacious 2,260-square-foot condo boasts marble floors, floor-to-ceiling glass doors along with its two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. In November 2021, Collins was spotted at the Pavilion Club in London alongside Piers Morgan as the two attended a book launch from Gabriela Peacock.

In 2013, it was reported that Rachel Weisz and her partner Daniel Craig were considering the purchase of a 19th-century Spilsby home. Known as the Dalby Hall Estate, the massive compound was estimated to be worth an eye-watering $16 million.

The sprawling estate, fit for a king, would be the perfect place for a 007 Bond agent to lay low and enjoy some family time after his covert trips around the world on military aircraft and private jets. In 2021, despite being the year's highest-grossing motion picture, Craig's Bond film "No Time to Die" was poised to lose $100 million, mainly due to quarantine delays.

Cheryl Cole - $6.5 million, Hertfordshire

In early 2017, Cheryl Cole put up her eco-friendly estate in Hertfordshire on the market for $6.5 million. The sale was prompted by the "X-Factor" judge's desire to start a new life with her ex-partner and One Direction member Liam Payne.

The "Fight for This Love" singer had just given birth to her baby son Bear with Payne and was prepared to part ways with her ultra-modern 8,000-square-foot residence to move in with the One Direction singer instead. Cole sent her fans and the mainstream media into a frenzy in June 2021 when she returned to social media after a one-year hiatus.

Naomi Campbell - Unknown, Kenya

During her visit to Malindi, Kenya, in the '90s, Naomi Campbell was immediately taken by the peaceful ambiance of the sleepy seaside town. The supermodel, who at the time was working for some of the hottest brands in the world, bought an idyllic villa in the town, and this has served as her retreat for more than two decades.

The open-ended, airy home features an indoor pool that opens up her living room to the outdoors, while its pièce de résistance is the Makuti roof that ensures the holiday residence gets plenty of sunlight during the day. In 2021, Campbell changed her management team as she signed Women Management Milano.

In mid-2018, Kelly Osbourne dropped some $3.575 million to get her hands on Rooney Mara's beautiful Hollywood Hills home. The mid-century modern structure in the Los Feliz Oaks boasts a 2,340-square-foot living space encompassing two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Malik had originally acquired the 2,332-square-foot home in September 2015 for $3.1 million, meaning the former One Direction member took a $200k loss on its sale in 2019 as he looked to move to New York City to live with supermodel Gigi Hadid. The two celebrities broke off their relationship in October 2021 after Malik's alleged spat with Hadid's mother, Yolanda.

Harry Styles sold his Los Angeles home in July 2019 for $6 million after lowering the price from his original $8.5 million bid. The One Direction singer had acquired the residence in 2016, shelling out $6.87 million for its stunning views of the Los Angeles skyline.

Located above the Sunset Strip in Hollywood Hills, the 4,401-square-foot home has four bedrooms and six bathrooms. When he was not on the road for his sold-out tours, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer could enjoy his time off at the home's indoor gym and home theater. In November 2021, Styles performed at a San Diego concert with his mother and partner Olivia Wilde in attendance.

Tom Hardy - $4.55 Million, Richmond

In mid-2013, Tom Hardy reportedly bought a home in Richmond, southwest London, with neighbors the likes of Richard Ashcroft and Mick Jagger. Later in the year, he secured state permission to extend the stunning Georgian property after building a two-story extension.

However, his home improvement plans made the "Dark Knight Rises" star quite unpopular with some of his neighbors, who later complained about his questionable building plans to the local council. In November 2021, it was reported that Hardy had teamed up with co-star Channing Tatum to star in and produce an Afghan evacuation-themed film for Universal Pictures.

Sadly, the pop musician who had made us all sing and dance during the festive holidays made us cry during Christmas 2016 when he tragically passed away at the age of 53. In 2021, ABC News dug into Michael's pop stardom in a profile of "Superstar."

The lavish property is worth a reported $7.6 million but was purchased by a lot less (around $1.7 million) in 2015. Its valorization is explained by the fact that Sunak's wife, businesswoman Akshata Murty, renovated the place by adding a pool, a yoga studio, a fitness room, and a tennis court.

However, not everything is perfect in their new home. As reported by Essex Live, Swash believes the place is haunted by ghosts. Solomon disagrees and seems to think that her husband's visions of horror aren't justified. We guess spiritual presences never show up in the real estate report.

He owns a house in Shropshire, England. This house was built sometime in the 15th or 16th century and is a half-timbered structure close to a medieval tower called Hopton Castle, which he and his wife fought to preserve. The decision was made, in part, by the "Harry Potter" actor on the grounds of potential future acting work and projects in Australia.

In mid-2021, Radcliffe decided to forego the condo, but instead of selling it to a random customer, he sold it to his parents for $2 million. The $4.94 million estate is where the "Lego House" singer spends family time with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their daughter Lyra Antarctica.

In August 2021, Sheeran gave his fans quite the surprise when he announced that his new album "=" was almost ready for release. During the promotional tirade on social media wherein the "Shape of You" hitmaker shared snippets and promos of his upcoming album, fans were also treated to sneak peeks of his lavish Suffolk home in the background.

Pete Doherty - $1.32 Million, Wiltshire

This red-bricked building belongs to the Earl of Cardigan, but at a time, it was inhabited by Pete Doherty. In 2009, the troubled singer invited MTV for the filming of the documentary "Pete Doherty In 24 Hours," and it revealed the messy and sordid state of the house they star rented for £1 million ($1.32 million).

The nine-bedroom mansion was in such deteriorated state that the owner reportedly spent £65k ($85k) to restore the place after Doherty moved out in 2010. Doherty, in September 2021, got engaged to and married Katia de Vidas, a bandmate in Putas Madres.

Elton John - Unknown, London

From Beverly Hills to France and London, it has been reported that Sir Elton John owns at least five palatial residences all over the United States and Europe. His estate in London features his collection of blond furniture and was inspired by Freddie mercury.

Located in Queensdale, the massive compound has an enormous front yard with intricately cut, beautiful trees and plants. In 2021, John collaborated with pop singer Dua Lipa and rocketed to the top 40 hits for the first time in more than two decades with their hit "Cold Heart."

Emma Thompson - $5.34 Million, London

In January 2014, Dame Emma Thompson's London home was nearly burnt in a fire but was salvaged thanks to the efforts of local firefighters. After a neighboring structure that is a part of her semi-detached home caught fire, five fire engines were promptly on the scene to prevent her house from burning to a cinder.

Although not much is known about it publicly, the charming brick-covered residence is where Thompson and her husband Greg Wise spend time with their family. In November 2021, Thomson backed Mary's Meals Double the Love campaign, asking people to donate for charity and help feed hungry students.

Emma Watson - Unknown, New York

According to Memar Architects, Emma Watson owns a swanky condo in a 12-story apartment building on the corner of Lexington Avenue. Built in 1913, the complex was later renovated and given a complete makeover to build more luxurious condominiums.

Given that Watson was seen looking for a new place in New York in 2014, it can be safely assumed that she purchased the one-bedroom apartment sometime around this period. In 2021, fans of "Harry Potter" rejoiced when it was announced that Watson and the regular cast would reunite for HBO's "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts."

Lily Collins - $2.995 Million, West Hollywood

In November 2018, Lily Collins put her West Hollywood condo on the market at $2.995, and it took her less than one month to close the deal with a suitable buyer. With 1,700-square-foot living space, the condo has one master bedroom and two bathrooms.

Apart from its picturesque views that showcase not only the city life but also the ocean in the distance, the apartment's notable features also include a walk-in closet and a modern kitchen. After the success of "Emily in Paris" in late 2020, Collins returned to the set in 2021 for the second season of the Netflix comedy-drama.

Mark Ronson - $4.78 Million, Los Feliz

Mark Ronson seemingly struck gold in 2016 when he came across an eye-catching Spanish Revival in Los Feliz. However, in 2020, he was ready to move on, as he offloaded the cool mansion for an equally cool $4.776 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Grammy Award-winning music producer's lavish four-bedroom, five-bathroom retreat, and its adjacent guest area feature lovely decorative touches like ceiling beams made from carved wood. In contrast, the floor is made from Saltillo tiles. In November 2021, Ronson brought back the iconic Nike Killshot 2 as he made an appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers."

Sienna Miller - $11.25 Million, The Hamptons

Now, although Sienna Miller never used her Hamptons residence on a permanent basis, she did stay in the spacious loft from time to time, using it as a vacation home. In August 2019, the waterfront Sag Harbor real estate was up for grabs as it hit the market at $11.25 million.

Located at 110 Hillside Drive East, the one-of-a-kind luxurious home contains nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms that architect Peter Cook meticulously crafted while the interior was designed by Stedila Design and Buttercup Design. Miller dazzled in an emerald green outfit as she stepped out at the 10th Annual LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles in November 2021.

Harry Kane – $22.7 Million, London

As avid soccer fans, we can't help but wonder where England team captain Harry Kane hangs his hat during the off-season. His incredible $22.69 million mansion in London is seemingly perfect for a six-time Premier League Player of the Month.

When he's not dominating the opposition on the field, Kane spends time with his wife Katie Goodland and their two children at their London home, where he can comfortably spend his $267k-per-week salary on the finer things in life. In the summer of 2021, Kane's future was the subject of rumors and speculation as Man City made moves to pry him from the Spurs' clutches.

Ricky Gervais - $14.41 Million+, London

Ricky Gervais and his long-time partner Jane Fallon made headlines in 2016 when they spent big money on a massive home in North London. According to some sources, the Hampstead compound is seven times bigger than an average U.K. home and cost the star couple an eye-watering $14.41 million!

During the lockdown of 2020, the "Life's Too Short" actor's eight-bedroom home was in the news once again as he tore down its back garden to turn it into a badminton court instead. After a two-year hiatus, Gervais hit the stage once more in London in November 2021 with his comedy gig "Supernature."

John Boyega – Unknown, South London

Born to immigrant parents, John Boyega came from humble beginnings, being raised in a council home. Knowing how hard they had worked to raise him, he decided to surprise them by buying in 2017. He gathered them in London under the guise of an interview before he surprised them; the moment is captured on video.

Besides the new house, Boyega revealed to Jimmy Fallon that he also got his parents a new Jaguar car that was parked in the driveway out front. We don't know how much it all cost, but the "Star Wars" actor said that it's a "huge blessing" and "huge responsibility" to be able to repay his parents like that.
